Looking for ideas to live a more eco-conscious and sustainable life with your family but it all feels too overwhelming? Maybe you’re not sure where to start? Check out the small steps we’ve taken over time to slowly but surely live a more sustainable family life in a modern world.
All too often, we forge ahead and strive to tackle our ambitious goals without looking back to reflect on what we’ve accomplished. We have lots of hopes and dreams for the future that sometimes seem overwhelming. How will we ever make them happen?
Like a mason, however, if we chip away at our goals brick by brick by brick, it’s pretty crazy what we can create and accomplish with consistent effort.
While I’m nowhere near perfect and have lots of plans and dreams for the future, I thought it would be interesting and helpful to take an inventory of the ethical and eco-friendly changes my family and I have made in our lives over the last couple of years. Maybe some of them will resonate with you?
Some of them we’ve already made or completed (and I’m totally taking credit). As we accomplish more of them, I’ll share them on the blog and link them up below. One day.. some day.. 100 little items on this list will reflect a world of change we’ve made in our lives (big and small) to be a better steward to our community, our Earth, and the humans that call it home.
Take a look through all these posts from the archives of the blog chronicling our mini accomplishments and fun successes toward a more zero waste, eco-conscious and sustainable yet modern family life.
