Apple Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 apple peeled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp of cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 cup of water
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and then allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add apples and allow to simmer for another 5 - 7 minutes or until apples reach desired softness.
  3. Allow to cool slightly and serve.
