Orange Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 large orange zest
  • juice of orange about 2 tbsp
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup yogurt Greek
  • 1/4 cup oil canola
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour whole wheat
  • 1/2 cup flour all purpose
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease a 1.5 quart loaf pan or bundt pant.

  3. Whisk eggs in a medium bowl until yolks and whites are combined.

  4. Add sugar, yogurt, oil, vanilla, orange zest and orange juice. Whisk together.

  5. Mix in flours, baking powder and salt.

  6. Pour batter into pan and bake for 30 - 40 minutes until a knife or cake tester comes out clean.

  7. Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes.
