Uetliberg
Exceeding our high expectations, we could not get enough of the unbelievable views from the peaks of mountains throughout Switzerland. Here, we trekked to the top of the Uetliberg in Zurich, not far from where we stayed. A short train ride followed by a steep climb (pushing the stroller on rocky unpaved paths, no less) brought us to these views. While I have no doubt a bright and clear day would have allowed us to see even further, our eyes lit up at the sight of these breathtaking views.
As far as dressing and packing for the cool, damp weather, you surely recognize the jacket and boots. They were staples to keep me warm and dry. I wore the boots on our red eye and while we wandered through Zurich. The jacket kept me cozy while we ventured up a gorgeous and quaint set of stone steps in search of their world famous Swiss chocolate. Spoiler alert ~ I found plenty of this deliciousness!
How great is this cute little neighborhood tucked among the hills. We certainly aren’t world travel experts, but M and I agreed this country was the most beautiful place we have ever seen. Amazing mountains, gorgeous lakes, lush greenery – it has it all!
