As Mother’s Day approaches, I will likely be spending the day at home on my couch caring for a brand new little guy (while, of course, trying my best to make sure our older little guy gets all the love he needs too). But were I not spending my near future nurturing a newborn, I thought I would share a few of the ways I would love to spend Mother’s Day with my mom or my little guys down the road.
First up, a traditional Mother’s Day brunch at Feast. The brunch option is certainly no secret to anyone, though it may be a secret how to find the perfect reservation at the perfect little brunch spot before it get booked into oblivion. (Sorry – I don’t have the answer for that problem). In any case, I picked this light and bright floral wrap dress for a sweet brunch with family at Feast, a local Chicago spot known for it’s wonderful brunch menu just a few blocks walk from our apartment. With respect to the outfit, I love the colors and floral for spring (and I love that, given this is a primarily professional style focused blog, it’s also something I could wear to the office as well – who hoo for versatile clothing!).
For the rest of the week, I will share with you a few more outfits and ideas for ways my family and I might spend Mother’s Day that may interest you as well.
