Perusing the Fossil store a few months back, I saw this bracelet and loved it. But I figured I could make something very similar for far less than the $34 price tag Fossil was asking. I already had most of the material I needed. As expected, the process did not go as smoothly as I had envisioned. But I think a few small modifications, which I will explain, would make the process a bit easier. I think the result turned out quite nicely and I am excited to wear it often!
Clear Stretch Cord
Step 2: I threaded a bead onto the stretch cord, inserting both ends of the cord through the bead and then tied a traditional double knot. I pulled the stretch cord up a bit when I tied the knot so that when released, the knot would hide inside the bead. (not pictured)
Step 6: Wear the bracelet!
A few of the steps took a bit of dexterity so I had trouble taking photos of each step along the way. So don’t hesitate to let me know if you have questions.
