Since discovering the Frontera line of Mexican sauces and mixes, I think we’ve been keeping them in business. The line was founded by Rick Bayless, a chef who also owns a restaurant by the same name not far from us in Chicago. The packaged mix added to some meat or fish makes for a super simple and quick semi-homemade dinner. And I love that it is fairly healthy. I generally rely on my ability to read the ingredients as a gauge of the goodness inside the package. The more I can read and understand what the heck is inside the amazing little package, the better. This gets high marks in my book for that grading category. It’s not perfect, but it’s darn close for the simplicity it brings to dinner time!
