I have never been to The Bean in Millennium Park before the crowds filled the plaza, but I stopped by on the way to work and found it to be a great place for my photos on this lovely summer day (not unlike this morning). A few people meandered through and some gave me odd looks, but everyone takes pictures of themselves in front of this thing. If there’s any place in Chicago to take a photo of myself, this is probably the most normal place to do it, right?
Regarding the outfit, this time of year poses the never-ending challenge of dressing for the summer heat while trying not to freeze in the over air conditioned office all day at work. I have a few cardigans and recently added this neon selection to my collection. (A jersey dress or a light blouse and pencil skirt can be good options to beat the heat as well.) I still end up feeling a bit chilly throughout the day while I crank away in Excel but the sweater makes a big difference. (I also have a fleece blanket that I keep in a drawer at my desk just in case the climate control gets really out of whack. But I don’t have to break that out too often.)
