You all want to get the most wear out of each piece in your closet, right? Don’t we all…
Layering is no new style trick, but the popular ways to layer shift with changing trends. Recently, black turtlenecks under summery dresses or tops have been a great, stylish way to extend the life of those seasonal pieces.
This lightweight, sleeveless dress screams summer. It’s also pretty comfortable. Adding a cozy layer under the dress makes it one of my favorite options for cold, wintery days when I don’t feel like dressing up. I even took the liberty of wearing leggings under the dress instead of tights to really complete the comfort factor.
For another example, check out this sweater dress with all neutrals I wore not long ago. I applied the same principle to similar pieces (no need to reinvest the wheel).
