Hey Blogging Friends,
It’s The Little Guy here today to “guest blog” for my mom and tell you a little about what’s going on around these parts.
First off, my mom rocks! (Ok, I know I am biased, but that’s just my humble opinion.)
This morning, we had yogurt and fresh farmer’s market peaches for breakfast. I can’t think of a sweeter snack than fresh, in-season fruit from local farmers! In my not-so-effective effort to politely eat my yogurt with a spoon, I decided spoons are terribly overrated. I dug right into the yogurt with my hands and proceeded to use them as my utensil for chowing down on my strawberry banana goodness. After covering my face with the sticky juiciness of the fresh peach, the yogurt added a nice layer of creaminess to the globs of goodness my mom “enjoyed” cleaning from my face, hands, clothes, and just about anything else within an arms’ length distance from me.
She was, however, careful not to dirty her pretty dress as she cleaned up after me. I helped her pick out this dress this morning as we searched for the coolest and lightest thing she could find in her closet to combat the humid heat that overwhelmed the day. Can you believe she thrifted this Tommy Bahama dress from ThredUp for about $15? Not too shabby, eh? And the more she saves on clothes, the more dough she has for me (because we all know that little kiddos can be expensive – sorry Mom). She also got to wear her Avoce sunglasses, which she loves.
Anyhow, I’m off to take my mid-morning nap. I’ve been up for three hours so it’s just about time for me to return to some sweet slumber.
Hope you’re all having as a great a day as I am spending time with my Mom!

P.S. Mom doesn’t post a lot of pictures of me, but I snuck in a few of my yogurt adventure this morning. She called it a fiasco ~ I beg to differ.
