I didn’t have anything specific in mind to wear today, but after perusing through some blogs in the morning before getting dressed, I came across Megan’s outfit and really liked the color combination. It inspired me to throw together this little number, a loose interpretation but my twist none-the-less, which I had to modify for slightly cooler weather in my neck of the woods. I took the turquoise from her shoes and threw it under my sheer tank instead. It’s a perfect example of how so many other bloggers spark simple yet perfectly fitting ideas to which I can add my own little spin. Thanks for the idea, Megan!
For a nostalgic added touch, the necklace I wore on the day I got married has been living in my jewelry box for almost five years. I think I wore it once a while back. But it thrilled me to whip it out this morning and have it be the perfect fit for my outfit today. Who hoo!
On an unrelated note, how cool is the entrance to the building in the first photo above. This is a side entrance to a small, old building tucked away in an unexpected alley right downtown (behind a Hooters, just for excellent juxtaposition). I absolutely love it!
