Oh yeah, and remember how I fell in love with my Air Bacaras from Cole Haan? And then subsequently added a black pair of Cole Haan flats to my collection (as a gift from my mother-in-law)? In the process of replacing a few of my work flats with nicer, more comfortable and better investment pieces, I added this super simple and uber comfortable pair of really basic but beautiful nude flats to my closet. When Cole Haan sent me an email sharing that I could receive an extra 30% off their clearance prices, I jumped on the chance to make a great investment in some classic shoes that would last for years to come. My collection of work flats is fairly complete for now and should last quite some time. But if you’re looking to replace some flats or make a great investment in a new shoes, Cole Haan might be a good option to consider. Just be sure to sign up for their emails or follow them on social media, so you can wait for a sale to snag the beauties at the best price!
What, what? All white? You trying to look like a little princess ballerina from Swan Lake?
Well, no, actually, I was going more for the princess ballerina from the Taylor Swift Shake It Off video. But you got close!
So if you missed yesterday’s post, you think I’m crazy. And if you did read yesterday’s post, you might still think I’m crazy. But no worries, I’ll just shake it off (ha, get it). But for real, I have two more outfits today (this new all white get up and a blast from the past), as I continue turning my latest favorite jam into my newest style inspiration.
While I’m sure the correlations are glaringly obvious (to me, at least), I targeted the ballerina and the modern dancer looks today.
P.S. Check out the part around minute 0:40. I don’t know why, but I love the juxtaposition of Taylor in a ballerina tutu rockin’ a little hip thrust. It makes me chuckle every time I see it.
