Cozy Sweater Style for our Mini Vacation

We don’t get a lot of snow here (and when we do, it doesn’t stay long). But during the past week or so, we accumulated a few inches and endured some pretty cold days. Admittedly, it pales in comparison to what we became used to in Chicago or what I grew up experiencing in Minnesota.

It’s still cold enough, though, to warrant a visit to an indoor water park for a nice break from the cold.

Today, we got back from an overnight trip to Kalahari Resorts. I’ll be sharing more about it with you next week. But in the meantime, I haven’t shared a style post in a while. So I thought I’d offer up my cozy secondhand combination that I pulled from closet.

I resorted (no pun intended.. but I crack myself up) to my favorite secondhand jeans that I snagged from the Salvation Army a while back. Chasing the boys around at Kalahari definitely called for something casual.

Do you have any travel plans to give you a break from the cold? This was our first visit to an indoor waterpark and T concluded “I love this place! I want to come back 800 times.” Needless-to-say, I think he appreciated a day in his swimsuit in the middle of winter.
