So I am contemplating snatching up a new pair of shoes for all the relaxing walks I’ll be taking over the next several weeks during the remainder of my maternity leave. And as I would never buy a new pair of shoes just for a few weeks of walks, I could wear these bad boys commuting to and from the office as well – or just on any wonderful weekend day. I have hemmed and hawed about these shoes for over a year and have yet to take the plunge, but I think I’m getting close to adding a pair to my (in my opinion) very reasonably sized shoe collection. Seriously, it’s not that bad.
Have you heard of Bucketfeet? This local Chicago start-up (you know how much I love local and start-ups, so the combination of the two surely catches my attention) has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few years. Designed by independent artists from the around the world, the casual canvas shoes make for a perfect comfortable and unique finishing touch to a fun outfit.
I can’t quite decide which pair I would like and thought I might solicit some feedback from you. So, what do you think? Here are the three pairs between which I am deciding. You can click on each photo to head to their site for more photos of each pair. Let me know in the comments if you have a preference as I’d love to hear the consensus.
Also, if you love these shoes as much as I do, head on over and, using this link, you can actually get 10% off your purchase. Pretty sweet? (For the record, this is not a sponsored post and I have had no correspondence with Bucketfeet regarding this post. I just think the shoes are pretty awesome, and I have link to get 10% off.. so I’m sharing it.)
