Who doesn’t love a good Made in the USA style story, right?
Paired with a simple little black dress, I added this cropped blazer to my closet recently from Oak73. I’d been on the hunt for a cropped blazer I could wear with several of my dresses. On sale and during their additional Labor Day clearance event, I snagged this blazer at a very reasonable price! (P.S. I follow them on Instagram, which is how I knew about the deeper holiday sale discounts.)

Story: While you can read more about the brand and it’s founder, they summarize their mission by striving to “… Create a fashion‐forward, premium quality American-made product and offer it directly to consumers (i.e. without wholesalers) at less than standard retail prices….”
Work Wear Styles Available: The brand doesn’t focus exclusively on work-appropriate attire. Their offerings range in style and price, but they have several blouses, blazers, jeans and other tops that can definitely be incorporated into just about any professional wardrobe.
My Experience: This is my first piece from their collection. I really like the quality and unique design. Although not over the top, the trim of the blazer has a bit of fringe and a fun yet conservative enough pattern for the office. I adore the polka dot lining that makes even the inside pretty.
The site provides fit guidance that I found to be spot on. They mentioned this blazer ran a bit small, suggesting I order up for a more relaxed fit. I ordered the smaller size in search of a more fitted piece, and got exactly what I ordered.
I second their conclusion, though, that this piece does run slightly small relative to many brands. It helped to have useful guidance, especially with a tailored piece like a blazer, about how it generally fit before ordering online.
When I purchased the blazer, I had a typo in the entry form that required customer service to adjust (after I hit Purchase). They were prompt and super helpful, no questions asked.
As you might have guessed, Oak73 is certainly on my list of options for future purchases as I continue to cross items off my style wish list.
Have you ever tried this brand? If so, what were your thoughts? I’d love to hear in the comments.
